Dermapen Skin Needling for Smoother, Healthier Skin
Microneedling that stimulates your skin to rebuild itself - smoother texture, faded scars, and renewed collagen from within
Every treatment is customised to what your skin needs.
Who’s it for
Dermapen works well if you’re dealing with:
Acne scarring or stretch marks
Stimulates new collagen to plump and smooth indented scars
Congested acne
Helps oxygenate and clear blocked pores (best for bumps beneath the skin; not suitable for active cystic or nodular acne)
Signs of aging
Softens fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of firmness by boosting collagen and elastin
Pigmentation
Gradually breaks up damaged cells and replaces them with fresh, even-toned skin
Uneven texture
Refines rough or bumpy skin for smoother overall appearance
How it works
- Stimulating fibroblast cells to produce new collagen and elastin
- Increasing cell turnover to replace damaged skin with fresh cells
- Creating channels that allow active serums to penetrate deeper for enhanced results
Depending on your concerns and goals, we can combine skin needling with:
- LED light therapy to boost collagen or target bacteria
- Mesotherapy serums for deeper active ingredient penetration
- Uber Pro Peel to address pigmentation and dead skin buildup
What to expect
How it feels
Despite the name, most people find it much more comfortable than expected. It feels similar to a stronger microdermabrasion. Noticeable over bony areas but tolerable and quick.
The actual needling takes 5-10 minutes. You’ll feel the device moving across your skin, but it’s manageable and over quite quickly.
How your skin will look after
Your skin will look pink to red immediately after treatment, similar to mild sunburn. This usually fades within 24-48 hours, sometimes that same evening or sometimes by the next morning.
Over the next few days, you might experience light flaking, dryness, or slight roughness as your skin renews itself. Some people also get minor breakouts as congestion clears (this is normal).
You’ll start seeing and feeling real improvement 7-10 days after treatment. Results continue building over the following weeks as collagen production ramps up.
Treatment overview

FAQ's
How many sessions will I need?
Does it hurt?
Most people find it tolerable. It’s slightly uncomfortable but manageable, especially since the needling only lasts 5-10 minutes. Bony areas feel it more. If you’re experiencing pain, let your therapist know and we’ll adjust.
Is skin needling safe?
Yes. We use the state-of-the-art Dermapen 4 in a clean clinical environment, and all therapists are fully trained. The device uses sterile, single-use needle cartridges.
What preparation do I need?
You’ll need a thorough consultation first. Before starting, we prefer clients use advanced cosmeceutical-grade skincare for 2-4 weeks to prep the skin. You’ll also need to take vitamins A, B, and C before treatment and use high-quality SPF daily.
How long does a session take?
The needling itself is 5-10 minutes. The full appointment runs for a minimum 45 minutes including prep, treatment, mask, and aftercare discussion.
Can I combine this with other treatments?
Absolutely. That’s why we offer the tiered packages. Combining needling with LED, mesotherapy, or peels delivers better results than just your standard needling alone. Your therapist will recommend the best combination for your goals.
What should I avoid after the treatment?
Skip active ingredients (retinol, acids, vitamin C) for 3 days. Avoid direct sun, heavy exercise, swimming, saunas, and hot showers for 24-48 hours. Keep skin clean and moisturised, and wear SPF 50+ daily. Your therapist will give you detailed aftercare instructions.
