SCARRING

Those marks don't have to be permanent

You’ve cleared up your acne, but now you have these marks that leave your skin feeling uneven and textured, long after the breakouts have healed. You really want smooth, even skin tone so you don’t have to cover up with makeup.

Many of our clients tell us it’s not just the look of scars that bothers them—it’s the reminder of their skin struggles. You’ve made peace with them (sort of), but wouldn’t it be nice if your skin looked smooth and even?

The good news: acne scars can be significantly improved. We see dramatic transformations all the time.

We also treat body and surgical scarring to thin out and remove unwanted scars while reducing redness.

Why acne scars form (and why they stick around)

When acne becomes severe, it can damage the skin’s collagen structure. As your skin tries to heal itself, it doesn’t always rebuild perfectly, which leaves you with indented, raised, or discolored areas.

Our #1 advice

Hands off those breakouts! Picking can spread bacteria, push inflammation deeper, and mess with your skin’s healing, making scars more likely.

Common types of scars

Atrophic (Indented) Scars

Box, rolling, or ice-pick scars that form when collagen is lost, leaving small depressions or divots in the skin.

Pigmented Marks

Those stubborn red or brown marks left behind after breakouts? They’re just post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and they can fade with the right care.

Hypertrophic/Keloid Scars

Raised, thickened scars caused by excess collagen during healing. More common in people with darker skin tones or a genetic tendency toward keloid formation.

Treatment options

We take the time to assess your unique skin and design a treatment plan that fits your needs, lifestyle, and long-term goals.

Depending on your type of scarring and skin sensitivity, we may recommend:

Dermapen Microneedling

Our most effective scar revision treatment. Stimulates collagen to rebuild texture and smooth indents. For best results, a course of treatments every 6 weeks is recommended.

Morpheus 8

An intensive skin resurfacing and restructuring treatment to fully transform the skin. It’s like Dermapen but on steroids. For those who want the fastest results for scarring. A course of 3-5 is recommended depending on scar severity.

Resurfacing Peels

To refresh and even the surface of the skin, helping fade pigmented marks and improve overall texture.

LED Light Therapy

To stimulate collagen production, support healing and reduce redness while your skin rebuilds.

Customised Home Care Plans

To protect and maintain results between visits whilst supporting your skin’s natural healing process.

Results you can expect

Scar revision is a gradual process and improvements build over time as new collagen forms and skin strengthens.

With consistent care, our clients see smoother skin, softer lines, and a more even tone. Scars and marks fade, makeup glides on effortlessly, and before long, you barely think about them at all.
